Please Take Me Away From Here

Die Cut Stickers, ABS Plastic, Glass, Magnets, 2.5 x 7.5 x 2.5 in

Please Take Me Away From Here transforms me into a sticker, offered as free replicas for anyone to take and disperse. This act of becoming a consumable extends my physical and conceptual identity in the world. Through this work, I reflect on the persistence of existence in different forms, blurring the lines between the tangible and intangible aspects of self. By exploring themes of accessibility in the art world and the everyday ubiquity of stickers, I’m navigating the two-dimensional plane to question the nature of presence and the significance of my dispersed likeness — representing as the daughter of Mexican and Honduran parents.
